PHPBB And CPU/Memory Usage?

It seems most of the problems are being experienced by WordPress Bloggers. My site is phpbb 2 with the integramod portal. I average less than 1000 page views per day with a peak of just over 2000. I do NOT host photos at this time and the only graphics that I host are avatars for the forum.

Am I likely to experience problems with my shared account? I have never experienced this problem with my current host.

Also, is there any prior waring to shut down so that a problem can be corrected prior to site visitors encountering error messages?
